Job Description

The VP of Marketing will provide Strategic Marketing leadership while coordinating and participating in the development of marketing initiatives. The VP of Marketing will develop a team and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented marketing culture within the company by working alongside senior leaders and departments in our North America region. The position will focus on direct sellers’ needs and materials while working on a fast paced environment with shifting priorities. 

Job Requirements

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction and with HR, Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains direct reports.
  • Manage direct reports and extended reports within the Marketing department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the Marketing department.
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy to establish ACN Communications as the foremost solution in the Direct Sales market and economy within North America.

Brand and Demand Generation: Elevate brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and optimize multi-channel campaigns to create the highest level of effective and efficient marketing approach within the direct selling market.

Team Development and Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration across departments to align marketing efforts with company goals.

Additional Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches.
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research.
  • Maintains knowledge of emerging products and services.
  • Collaborates with other senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization.
  • Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget.
  • Attending North America Corporate Events. Marketing VP is expected to be onsite at these events and support the Marketing team as needed. 2025 is projected to have two events, planned in March and September.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a Network Marketing Department
  • Proven Success with Digital Marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM software tools preferred.
  • Understanding of SEO & analytics preferred.
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced landscape and drive an unprecedented marketing impact.
  • Agreeable to working directly with company owners and board members.
  • Thorough understanding of the Direct Selling market and its developments.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Adobe, PPT, Excel) required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field required.
  • At least five years of experience in marketing in a Director or Executive level role with proven success in career progression in the marketing field, and managing a multi-million dollar budget where long-range planning is required.
