The Legacy We Hope to Leave
Since ACN was founded in 1993, it has been our goal to leave the communities in which we live, work and play a little better than how we found them. In 2008, ACN began working with the Ronald McDonald House Charities and raises funds for this organization at each of ACN's global events. ACN matches any donations made by employees and Independent Business Owners dollar for dollar, and together have raised millions of dollars worldwide to support Ronald McDonald House Charities
ACN made significant contributions locally to open the doors of the new Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte, which opened its doors in May of 2010. ACN has continued to support the cause through donations and volunteer hours. Each month ACN employees prepare dinner for the 28 families staying at the House on a given night.
The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte Celebrity Golf Tournament is another way funds are raised for the RMH of Charlotte. ACN employees plan and volunteer to work this event, which sells out annually, and most recently raised over $200,000! The tournament offers golfers the opportunity to play a round with a celebrity captain AND give back to a great cause. ACN, our employees, and our Independent Business Owners have donated millions of dollars to RMHC around the globe.
Nurturing Our Roots
In addition to providing ongoing support for Ronald McDonald House Charities, ACN is proud to sponsor and be involved with a long list of local charities. Having a sense of community is important to us and we understand the importance of cultivating our roots in the Charlotte area.
